The Amend Group was selected to masterplan, design, and manage the construction process of the new home for The Gladney Center for Adoption, located on a 10.6-acre site in southwest Fort Worth. The four–building complex is composed of a two-story, 29,000 square foot counseling center, a twenty bed residence hall, a 16,500 square foot community center, and a 4,700 square foot visitor center. The various buildings are connected by enclosed walkways, and arranged to create a village environment, which allows for a variety of outdoor gathering spaces, such as the circular arrival court, donor recognition plaza, shade trellis, swimming pool, and large picnic pavilion.
